A rabbit fed a muesli-style mix will often eat around the parts it likes and leave the rest, which over time can mean it's not actually getting the balance the bag promises — it's one of the reasons vets have moved rabbit owners toward pellets over the years, though plenty of rabbits are still kept on a mix like this one.

Mr Johnson's build this from flaked steamed peas, concentrate pellets (wheatfeed, sunflower extract, straw, sugar beet, calcium carbonate, molasses, grassmeal, salt, vegetable oil, a vitamin and trace element premix, and dicalcium phosphate), plus flaked barley, flaked maize, locust bean extrusions, wheat extrusions and soya oil, with a Verm-X herb blend added on top. We're selling this as a complete feed based on the recipe itself — the ingredients suggest a main-meal mix — rather than a claim printed on Mr Johnson's own pack, which doesn't use the word.
