Full description

A bowl that slides across the kitchen floor every time a dog eats with any enthusiasm is a design fault, not a personality trait of the dog.

This is the largest of the Smarty Bowl range, made from BPA-free, non-toxic, 100% recyclable plastic with non-slip rubber feet, and it's dishwasher safe. It holds 1,248ml and measures L 23.9 x W 21.4 x H 8.4cm, in Warm Grey.

Which size you need. This is the largest size in the range, built for larger dogs given its 1,248ml capacity; other, smaller sizes exist for smaller breeds, but their dimensions aren't on this card, so check a separate listing rather than assuming this one scales down.

Who it's for: owners of a larger dog who needs a bowl that won't skate across the floor mid-meal, and who'd rather run it through the dishwasher than scrub it by hand.

Moderna Smarty Bowl Warm Grey No3

Why we chose it

Non-slip feet on a bowl this size are the whole point: a big dog eating fast pushes a bowl further than a small one does, and rubber feet are the cheap fix for a mess that's otherwise a daily annoyance. Being dishwasher safe on top of that is what makes it a bowl you'd actually keep using rather than one you dread washing.
