Full description
A carrier only has to do its job for the length of one car journey or one waiting-room visit, but it has to do it without the sides flexing, the door popping, or the cat working out it can push its way out.
The Road Runner is made from BPA-free, non-toxic plastic that Moderna say is over 98% recycled, and it measures L56.4 x W37.4 x H35cm. It has large ventilation openings for airflow, a carry handle, and a pair of slots so it can be seatbelted into a car rather than left loose on a seat.
- Overall dimensions L56.4 x W37.4 x H35cm
- Made from over 98% recycled, BPA-free, non-toxic plastic
- Large ventilation openings
- Carry handle
- Seatbelt slots for securing in a car
- Cleaned with warm soapy water
On sizing. Moderna sell the Road Runner in more than one size and colour, and this listing is the 56cm version — there's no stated maximum cat weight or breed guidance on the card, so measure your cat rather than go by age or breed alone before assuming it will fit.
Who it's for: owners who drive their cat somewhere — vet visits, catteries, house moves — and want a carrier that can actually be belted in rather than slid around the boot or back seat.

Why we chose it
The seatbelt slots are the detail that decided it — most carriers at this price give you a handle and nothing else for securing it in the car. Made from mostly recycled plastic is a genuine bonus rather than the reason we picked it, but it doesn't hurt.
