Specifications

Brand: Henry Bell
Suitable from: 4 weeks

Full description

Not every poultry feed is meant to be the whole diet, and mixed corn is one of the clearer examples — it's a straight grain blend rather than a formulated ration, and it's sold as exactly that.

Mixed Poultry Corn combines whole wheat, whole barley and kibbled maize, and Henry Bell describe it as suitable for feeding to all types of poultry and fowl from 4 weeks of age.

Composition: whole wheat, whole barley, kibbled maize
Suitable for poultry and fowl from 4 weeks of age
20KG bag
A straight grain mix, not a formulated complete diet

What the label doesn't say. No protein, fat or fibre figures are published for this mix, which is typical of a straight corn blend rather than a compound feed — it's meant to be fed alongside a proper layers or growers ration, not instead of one.

Who it's for: poultry keepers who already feed a complete layers or growers pellet and want a straight grain mix to scatter as extra variety or scratch feed, for birds from 4 weeks old.

Mixed Poultry Corn

Why we chose it

It's an honest straight feed rather than being dressed up as more than it is, which suits anyone who already has a proper layers ration sorted and just wants a grain to scatter. Twenty kilos covers a decent-sized flock for a good while.
