Full description

Reptiles kept on a vegetable-based diet don't get calcium the way a wild herbivore would from a varied environment, which is why dusting the food itself has become the standard workaround.

This is a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement with extra calcium and phosphorus, designed to be applied by dusting onto fresh vegetables and fruit. It's aimed at herbivorous reptiles already under UVB light and positioned for animals that need only minimal additional vitamin D3, sold in a 115G tub.

What's not specified. No exact calcium or phosphorus percentage is given on this card, and no dusting frequency or amount per feed — so there's no number here to work out precisely how much you're adding to a meal, only that it's designed to be applied to fresh produce.

Who it's for: keepers of herbivorous reptiles under UVB lighting who dust their vegetables and fruit as part of a normal feeding routine.

Komodo Calcium Supplement for Herbivores

Why we chose it

It's aimed specifically at herbivores under UVB light, rather than being a generic reptile supplement, which matters if that's genuinely your set-up. 115g is a sensible size for a supplement used in small dustings rather than large amounts.
