Hot weather and teething don't wait for each other to finish, and a puppy chewing on something cool tends to settle faster than one chewing on something room temperature.
This is Kingdom's Freezeable Ice Cream toy, designed to be submerged in water and placed upright in the freezer. Once frozen, it provides immediate cooling as the dog chews and plays with it, which Kingdom say is particularly good for teething puppies and for cooling dogs on hot days generally. It comes in two assorted colours, pink and mint.
- Fill with water and freeze before use
- Provides cooling as the dog chews
- Aimed at teething puppies and hot-weather use
- Two assorted colours: pink and mint
- Ice-cream shaped
One thing worth knowing. Kingdom say to use it outdoors or on a waterproof surface once frozen, which tells you it will drip as it thaws - this is a toy for the garden or a towel down, not the sofa. No material composition is specified beyond it being freezable and safe for teething puppies.
Who it's for: puppy owners looking for something to take the edge off teething, and anyone wanting a cooling toy for a dog on a hot day.

Why we chose it
A toy that's genuinely useful for two different problems - teething and hot weather - earns its shelf space more easily than a single-purpose one. Filling it with water yourself also means you control exactly how cold it gets, rather than relying on a pre-frozen gel pack.
