Specifications

Brand: King British

Full description

Chlorine that's perfectly fine in tap water for a person is a real problem for fish, and the concentration in mains supply can vary from area to area, which is exactly when a dedicated de-chlorinator earns its place on the shelf.

King British's De-Chlorinator is a straightforward means of removing chlorine from a water supply, best used when setting up a new aquarium or when doing a water change in an area with a higher concentration of chlorine in the tap water. It comes as a 100ml bottle.

100ml bottle
Removes chlorine from tap water
Best used when setting up a new tank
Also suited to routine water changes

What isn't given. No dosage rate per litre of water is stated on the information we hold, so dose according to the bottle's own instructions rather than a figure quoted here.

Who it's for: aquarium keepers setting up a new tank, or doing regular water changes in an area where tap water carries a noticeably higher chlorine level.

King British De-Chlorinator

Why we chose it

It's a simple, unglamorous product that does one job properly, and a 100ml bottle is a sensible size to keep in rotation for routine water changes rather than an oversized bottle that sits half-used for months. King British is a name that's been around this category for a long time.
