Full description
A knotted coat is more of a grooming problem than a dirty one, and washing with an ordinary shampoo does nothing to stop the same tangles forming again by the next brush.
Johnson's Anti-tangle Shampoo is built to work on that specifically: it revitalises the coat while conditioning, cleaning and helping prevent knots and tangles forming in the first place. Johnson's list it as suitable for all breeds, in a 400ml bottle.
- 400ml bottle
- Anti-tangle formula
- Revitalises the coat
- Conditions, cleans and beautifies
- Helps prevent knots and tangles
- For all breeds
On the ingredients. Johnson's don't give an ingredient list, a scent, or a dilution/rinse instruction on this card, so exactly how to use it beyond "shampoo" is a gap best filled by the bottle itself or your usual grooming routine.
Who it's for: owners of a longer-coated dog or cat that tangles between grooming sessions, wanting a wash that works against that rather than a plain cleaning shampoo.

Why we chose it
A shampoo aimed specifically at tangling rather than a generic all-purpose wash is worth the difference in price for anyone brushing out knots every week. It also covers both cats and dogs, so it isn't a product you need two versions of.
