A flock with nothing to peck at through a long day will find something else to do instead, and a pecking block that has to be worked at rather than eaten in a few goes is a straightforward way to give a bigger flock something to occupy them.

Hentastic's Ground Breaker is made from British flour, mixed seeds, vegetable fat, calcium powder, peanut butter, seaweed, parsley, oregano, spearmint, spirulina powder and garlic powder, pressed into an XL block inside a bucket. To use it, the lid comes off and the bucket is turned upside down on a feeding surface, then squeezed gently at the sides while lifting to free the block.
