Peanuts left sitting in a soggy feeder base can quickly turn from a favourite garden bird food into something nobody wants to eat, and a badly drained feeder is often the reason a full one seems to go untouched. Henry Bell's answer is the same drainage-first base across their whole feeder range, applied here to peanuts.

This feeder is made of aluminium and finished in black, with an all-in-one base offering more perch space than a plain wire cage while collecting the debris that falls as birds feed. Drainage built into the base is designed to stop water pooling around the peanuts themselves, and a broad umbrella top adds further protection against the weather.

• Aluminium construction, black finish
• All-in-one base with extra perch space
• Built-in drainage
• Broad umbrella top
• Collects feed debris
• Easy to clean and refill

On how much it holds. Henry Bell don't give a base capacity or overall dimensions for this feeder, so we can't say how many peanuts it holds at a fill or how it compares in size against a smaller wire peanut feeder.

Who it's for: garden bird feeders wanting a peanut feeder for popular visitors like tits, greenfinches and nuthatches, built with the same drainage and weatherproofing across Henry Bell's range.
