Sunflower hearts are messier to feed than a mixed seed blend — no husks to sweep up afterwards, but a feeder without the right base can still end up scattering as much as it dispenses. The part that matters most on a hearts feeder is the base, not the tube.

This is Henry Bell's Everyday feeder, built specifically around sunflower hearts, made of aluminium and finished in black. It is a compact version of Henry Bell's Heavy Duty range, carrying over the same all-in-one base with extra perch space and a design meant to collect debris rather than let it scatter. Henry Bell describe it as easy to clean and refill.

• Aluminium construction
• Black finish
• Built for sunflower hearts specifically
• All-in-one base with extra perch space
• Base collects food debris rather than scattering it
• Compact version of Henry Bell's Heavy Duty range

What isn't stated. No capacity, height or width is published for this feeder, so there is nothing here to check it against a specific bracket or pole mount before ordering. It is also not described as suitable for larger seed mixes, so keep it to hearts rather than switching feed types.

Who it's for: garden bird feeders wanting a dedicated sunflower hearts feeder with a sturdier base than a basic plastic tube, without paying for Henry Bell's full-size Heavy Duty range.
