Peanuts left loose on a bird table draw squirrels as readily as birds, which is the reason a mesh peanut feeder that only lets a bird peck through small gaps exists as its own product.

This is the peanut version of Henry Bell's compact Heavy Duty Everyday range, made of aluminium and finished in black, with an all-in-one base built for greater perch space and to help collect food debris. Henry Bell say it is easy to clean and refill.

• Built for peanuts
• Aluminium construction, black finish
• All-in-one base with wider perch space
• Helps collect food debris rather than dropping it
• Compact version of the Heavy Duty range

On what is left out. No mesh gauge, capacity or dimensions are given, so we can't say how effectively it excludes squirrels or larger birds, or how many peanuts it holds per fill.

Who it's for: garden bird feeders wanting a dedicated peanut feeder rather than scattering peanuts loose on a table or ground.
