It's an odd thing to notice, but one supplement here covers a horse, a dog, a cat and a budgie, and it's essentially the same handful of dried seaweed for all four. That crossover is a sign of how old-fashioned this kind of product is.

It's made from seaweed, which naturally carries minerals, amino acids and vitamins in their natural form. It's sprinkled directly onto food, and Hatchwell note it's traditionally also added to drinking water in hot weather.

On the health claim. Hatchwell describe this as supporting general health and coat condition, which is a manufacturer's marketing claim rather than a clinical one, and no dose or serving size is given for any of the species it's sold to. If you're adding it for a specific concern rather than as a general supplement, check with a vet on how much and how often first.

Who it's for: owners wanting a traditional, multi-species seaweed supplement to sprinkle on food, rather than a species-specific or condition-specific product.
