Harkers describe it as one of the first truly scientifically formulated supplementary feeds offered to racing pigeons, designed to be added to a bird's traditional mixture rather than replace it. The stated results at the time were improved fertility and virility, along with an influence on crop milk production that Harkers say helped produce strong, well-grown youngsters.
