Full description

A small pet with nothing to gnaw on will find something to gnaw on regardless, and a cage without a dedicated chew item usually means the bars or the water bottle taking the hit instead.

Nature First's Large Willow Tube is made from 100% natural willow branches, described as suitable for any small animal to enjoy for both playing and hiding. It measures 32cm.

Designed to be chewed

What's not confirmed. the maker doesn't tell us the tube's internal diameter, so it's worth checking the product photos against your pet's size before assuming a rabbit, for example, will fit through as easily as a hamster.

Who it's for: owners of hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs or other small pets who want a natural chew item that doubles as a hideaway, rather than a plastic tunnel.

Why we chose it

Willow is a genuinely different chew material to the wood blocks most cages have, and it doubles as a hide rather than being a single-purpose chew toy. At 32cm it's a decent size for the price, so it's worth having as an enrichment item rather than a small trinket.
