A bored parrot will find something to chew, and if it isn't a toy, it's often the cage bars or the woodwork nearby. Happy Pet's Groovy Colour Blocks give a larger bird something intended for exactly that instinct.

It's made primarily from wood, coloured with non-toxic dyes safe for chewing and gnawing, strung together with a metal clip for easy attachment to any cage. The mix of shapes and vivid colours is meant to hold a bird's attention longer than a plain wooden toy would.

• Made primarily from wood
• Non-toxic dyes, safe to chew
• Metal clip for attaching to a cage
• Encourages natural chewing and play
• Suited to parrots and larger birds

One thing worth knowing. Happy Pet don't give an exact weight limit for the metal clip, so if you've a particularly enthusiastic chewer, it's worth checking the clip periodically rather than assuming it'll hold indefinitely under heavy use.

Who it's for: owners of a parrot or other larger bird who chews or shows signs of feather picking, and who want a colourful toy built to redirect that behaviour.
