Full description

A bird's cage is a small world, and a toy that fixes to the perch itself gives a bird something to interact with wherever it's already spending most of its time.

Star 'O' Bells is a star-shaped wheel of plastic balls, each containing a small bell, that slides directly onto a perch. It's from Sharples Pet's Ruff 'N' Tumble range and measures 9cm across.

On perch fit. No perch diameter range is published, so there's no way to confirm from the card alone whether it slides onto every standard cage perch — worth checking against your own cage before assuming a fit.

Who it's for: small caged birds that respond to sound and colour, and owners looking for a perch-mounted toy rather than one that sits loose on the cage floor.

Why we chose it

A toy that fixes to the perch stays where a bird actually is, rather than getting knocked to the bottom of the cage and ignored. At 9cm it's sized for smaller cages rather than an aviary.
