Full description

A bird standing on the same hard, smooth perch all day gets none of the natural wear a branch in the wild would give its feet - a textured cotton perch is one of the simplest ways to put a bit of that back.

This is a bendy cotton perch that screws between any cage, sold across a range of sizes, with the texture helping to keep a bird's beak and nails trim through normal use.

Cotton construction

Confirmed size on this listing: 15 inches
Available in three sizes overall
Helps keep beaks and nails trim

On sizing: this listing covers three sizes in the range, but we only have an exact figure for one of them - 15 inches. The other two sizes' lengths aren't broken out for us, so if a specific size matters for your cage, check the individual listing rather than assuming.

Who it's for: bird keepers who want a soft, textured perch as an alternative to a hard dowel, and who have a cage size in mind that this range covers.

Happy Pet Cotton Bird Perch

Why we chose it

A cotton perch does something a plain wooden dowel doesn't - it flexes slightly and wears the way a natural branch would, which is genuinely better for a bird's feet over time. Being able to screw it into practically any cage also means it isn't tied to one specific cage brand.
