Brand: Happy Pet

Full description

A caged bird's world is only as big as the perches and props inside it, and most cages offer very little to actually climb — a ladder gives a bird a reason to move between levels rather than sitting on one perch all day.

Happy Pet's Wooden Bird Ladder is built to encourage a bird to play and climb, adding a visual feature to a cage as well as a functional one. This listing is supplied as an 11-step ladder; Happy Pet make the design across more than one length, so step count can vary between listings in the range.

Wooden construction
Encourages climbing, play and exercise
Adds visual interest to a cage or aviary
This listing: 11 steps

On step count. Happy Pet do not give an overall length or a maximum bird size for this ladder, and step count varies across the range, so check the listing you are ordering matches the space and species you have in mind.

Who it's for: owners of cage or aviary birds who want to add a climbing feature rather than relying on perches alone for exercise.

Happy Pet Wooden Bird Ladder

Why we chose it

Cages are often set up with perches and not much else, and a ladder is a cheap way to add genuine movement to a bird's day rather than another static perch. Wood also gives a bit of texture to grip and chew at, which a plastic ladder does not.
