'Oat' in the name of a forage product sounds like it should contain grain, but this is harvested while the plant is still leaf and stem, before any actual oat grain has formed — which is the reason it's grain and cereal free despite the name.

Friendly dry the whole plant — leaves, stems and husks — grown in Yorkshire, without adding anything else. It comes out at 11% protein, 28% fibre, 2% oil and nil starch, and can be fed without restriction, blended in with your pet's usual hay. It's sold as a complementary forage, not a complete diet on its own.
