A rabbit's gut is built to process fibre almost constantly, which is why the forage matters as much as anything else in the bowl.

This one is made purely from dried alfalfa forage. Protein comes out at 16%, fibre at 32%, oils at 4% and calcium at 1.2%. It can be fed freely, offered alone or blended with hay for pregnant, nursing or young animals, and as an occasional treat for mature adults, with fresh water always available alongside it.
