Some pet toothpastes rely on enzymes to do the cleaning work, and those are typically meant to be used sparingly rather than every day — which is awkward if a daily routine is the goal.

Dentifresh's toothpaste is non-enzymatic, which the brand says makes it suitable for frequent use rather than an occasional treatment. It comes in a 45g tube, is meat flavoured, and is made in Great Britain. Dentifresh describe its job as fighting plaque and freshening breath, aimed at both dogs and cats.

What is not confirmed here. Dentifresh confirm the flavour and that it's non-enzymatic, but they don't give a recommended brushing frequency or an ingredient list on this card — pair it with your own routine or a vet's advice rather than a schedule printed on the tube.

Who it's for: owners who want a toothpaste they can use as part of a genuinely daily brushing habit, rather than one meant for occasional use.
