A breed calendar only earns its place on the wall if it actually looks like the dogs the owner knows, rather than a generic stock photo of the breed in general — which is where a calendar built around one breed specifically, rather than "dogs" broadly, tends to do better.

This wall calendar is devoted entirely to Dachshunds, covering the fact that the breed comes in six varieties, and is sized at 30 x 30cm — a standard wall-calendar format. It sits in the "modern" style line of our calendar range, distinct from the more traditional-styled options.

• 30 x 30cm wall calendar
• Devoted entirely to Dachshunds
• Covers the breed's six varieties
• Modern-style calendar design

What the listing leaves out. the makers do not tell us how many photos are used across the twelve months or whether all six Dachshund varieties are pictured, so if you want a specific coat type represented, that has not been confirmed to us.

Who it's for: Dachshund owners, or anyone buying a gift for one, who wants a calendar dedicated to the breed rather than a general dog calendar.
