A guinea pig or hamster earns most of its excitement in short bursts, and a treat stick handed through the bars is one of the few moments in the day built entirely around them.

These are baked from wheat flour with egg, added oils and fats and yeast, coloured with EEC permitted colourants for the stripe down the stick, rather than built around a named meat, fruit or vegetable. It's a plain baked treat rather than a flavoured or fortified one.
