A chew that has to be dug out from under bedding tends to get ignored, which is why a lot of cage chews are designed to attach to the bars instead — fixed somewhere obvious, at a height the animal can actually reach without effort.

The Fruit Nibbler is made from 100% natural wood with natural flavourings, shaped to be easily attached to any wire cage, at 12cm in this large size. Gnawing at it is meant to double as a boredom breaker and a way of keeping teeth worn down, which matters for small pets whose teeth grow continuously.

• 100% natural wood
• Natural flavourings, fruit-based
• 12cm, large size
• Easily attaches to any wire cage
• Helps keep teeth worn down

One thing to check. Critters Choice do not tell us the exact flavour used or give a weight for this chew, and as a natural wood product some variation in shape and colour between individual chews is normal.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs and other caged small pets who want a fruit-flavoured wooden chew fixed to the bars rather than left loose on the cage floor.
