Full description

A textured chew surface does something a smooth one doesn't: it works against the gum as a dog bites down, rather than just sitting there being chewed.

The Rubber Oval Rope is a solid rubber ball, 100mm across, with a ribbed and raised pimple-effect surface built to give a good gum massage as your dog chews. A rope handle is attached, so the same toy works as a tug as well as a chew.

Who it's for: dogs that like both a chew and a tug in one toy, and owners after a textured surface rather than a smooth rubber ball.

Why we chose it

The rope handle turns a chew ball into a throw-and-tug toy as well. That is more use out of one product than most rubber balls offer, and the ribbed surface earns its keep on top of that.
