Boredom in a hutch is as real a welfare problem for a rabbit as anything nutritional, which is the argument for a treat that's still mostly hay rather than something sweet.

Meadow Munchies is 99% meadow hay, with dried dandelion and camomile each making up a further 0.5%. The fibre figure reflects that base: 26% crude fibre, with 52% described as "beneficial fibre", protein at 13%, fat at 3.5% and ash at 8.5%. It's suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.

Where this sits next to a staple hay. This is marketed as a snack rather than a bedding or main feeding hay, but at 99% hay it's nutritionally close to one — the card doesn't give a separate daily amount for it, or say how it should sit alongside a dedicated feeding hay in the bowl. Treat it as a supplement to, not a replacement for, whatever hay is already the bulk of the diet.

Who it's for: owners wanting a treat that doesn't compromise on fibre, for a rabbit, guinea pig or chinchilla that needs enrichment as much as it needs nutrition.
