Full description

Guinea pigs kept indoors do not graze the way an outdoor pig might, so a food built for them leans harder on the vitamin C they cannot make for themselves and would otherwise get from fresh forage. This one is built around that gap, with dandelion, passionflower and camomile worked through at small amounts.

The recipe includes wheat, grass meal, wheat feed, oat feed and dried peas, with dried dandelion root at 0.05%, dried passionflower at 0.05% and camomile powder at 0.05%, plus added vitamin C at 1050mg per kg. Feeding is by weight: 45g daily for guinea pigs under 1kg, 60g for those over.
