Full description

Small pets in the wild spend most of their waking hours foraging rather than eating from a bowl, and a mini hay bale is one of the few things that lets a caged animal do something closer to that - pulling and picking at it rather than having food simply appear. Burgess have built this one from timothy hay with marigold worked through.

It is 92% timothy hay, with marigold at 6%, plus a small amount of raffia and starch to help it hold its bale shape. It is aimed at rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas, and is meant as a snack rather than a main diet.
