Bugalugs Artificial Grass Cleaner Cut Grass Fragrance

Artificial grass doesn't drain the way real turf does, so whatever a dog leaves on it sits on the surface rather than soaking away — which is why a fibre-level clean matters more here than on a real lawn.

This is a concentrate built from a small amount of cationic and non-ionic surfactants plus a cut-grass fragrance, diluted at a 10:1 ratio to make up to 10 litres of ready-to-use solution from each 1-litre bottle, enough to cover up to 100 square metres per litre. Bugalugs' method is to apply it with a watering can or pump spray, work it in with a stiff brush, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with water; it dries in around 15 minutes.

Handle it with the right protection. Bugalugs' own safety data says this causes skin irritation and serious eye damage undiluted, and is harmful to aquatic life, so gloves, protective clothing and eye protection are worth wearing during application even though the diluted, dried lawn is what your dog will actually walk on.
