Doves get grouped with pigeons often enough that a dove-specific mix is easy to overlook in favour of a general pigeon corn, even though the two aren't fed identically by keepers who work with both.

Bucktons build this dove mix from wheat, maize grits, barley, red dari, linseed and black rapeseed — smaller grain pieces than a standard pigeon corn, with linseed and black rapeseed adding oil content the plainer grains don't provide. Bucktons describe it as suitable for feeding all year round.

• Wheat, maize grits, barley, red dari, linseed and black rapeseed
• Suitable for all-year-round feeding
• Smaller grain pieces than a standard pigeon corn
• 20KG sack

One thing worth knowing. Bucktons don't publish a protein or oil analysis for this mix, so beyond the ingredient list itself, there's no figure here to compare it against another feed.

Who it's for: dove keepers wanting a dedicated dove mix rather than a general pigeon corn, suitable for feeding all year without switching between seasonal formulations.
