Full description
A whole small fish is one of the simplest treats a dog can be given, because there's nothing to formulate — the sprat is the recipe.
This is a 500g tub of whole, air-dried sprats, described by Bestpets as natural and protein-rich with no fillers or grains added. As with their other dried fish treats, no protein or fat percentage has been published for this one.
- 500G tub
- 100% natural fish sprats, air-dried
- No fillers or grains added
- Can be broken into smaller pieces for training
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Not suitable for puppies, older dogs, or dogs with dental issues
A contradiction worth flagging. Bestpets' safety notes say this product is not suitable for puppies, older dogs, or pets with dental issues, while a separate life-stage tag on the same record lists it as suitable for puppies — the two disagree, and we've followed the explicit, more cautious safety line rather than the tag.
Who it's for: owners of adult dogs with no dental issues wanting a whole, natural fish treat rather than a processed one.

Why we chose it
A whole dried sprat is about as unprocessed as a dog treat gets, which is the appeal for anyone trying to avoid ingredients lists altogether. As with the rest of this range, there's no published protein figure, so we'd treat it as an occasional natural treat rather than something to weigh into a daily allowance precisely.
