A poop bag only has one moment to prove itself — the pull off the roll or out of the box, one-handed, usually in the dark or the rain — and everything else about it is secondary to whether that moment goes smoothly.

Beco's Mint Scented bags come with easy-tie handles, are big, strong and leakproof, and dispense from the box smoothly for picking up at speed. The plastic is 100% post-consumer recycled, giving waste plastic another life, and the finished bag composition is 97% recycled PE with the remaining 3% made up of scent, colouring and stabilisers. This listing covers 315 bags.

• Handled bags with an easy-tie closure

• Composition: 97% recycled PE, 3% scent, colouring and stabilisers
• 315 bags per box

One thing worth knowing. These are box-dispensed bags rather than a roll, so if you're used to clipping a roll to a lead, the format is different — you'll want somewhere in a bag or pocket to carry a few loose rather than the whole box. Beco also make an unscented version and a roll format, which are separate listings, not variants of this one.

Who it's for: owners who want a bag with a built-in handle for tying off one-handed, and prefer a scented bag over an unscented one.
