On the ingredients
This isn't a grain-free treat — corn and wheat are the first two ingredients — so it isn't the one to reach for if a rabbit or guinea pig is on a restricted diet. It's a treat rather than a staple food either way, and Beaphar's own guidance caps it at one or two sticks a day depending on the animal's weight.
Why we chose it
A treat actually sized for the animal — 5cm sticks rather than something scaled down from a dog treat — is a small detail a lot of small-animal treats get wrong. The weight-banded feeding guide is also more useful than the usual vague 'feed in moderation' line.

Full description
A small animal's teeth never stop growing, which is the actual reason gnaw sticks exist — not as a treat first, but as a way to wear teeth down before they become a problem.
This 150g pack is made from corn, wheat, dextrose, lignocellulose, alfalfa and paprika powder, with each stick around 5cm long. Beaphar size the feeding guidance to the animal's own weight rather than giving one blanket amount.

Who it's for: owners of guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits or chinchillas who want a small daily gnaw treat, whose pet has no reason to avoid corn or wheat.
