Full description
A flea shampoo works only as well as the five minutes you actually leave it on for, and most of the disappointment with these products comes down to rinsing off too soon rather than the formula itself.
This is a shampoo infused with tea tree and neem oils, built to help wash out fleas, ticks, mites and lice from a cat's coat, with a built-in conditioner and medicated scent. Animology's instruction is to lather from the neck down and leave it for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
- 125ML bottle
- Tea tree and neem oil infused
- Built-in conditioner
- Medicated scent
- Suitable for all cat breeds and coat types, cats from 6 weeks old
- Leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing
One thing worth knowing. This washes out fleas, ticks, mites and lice already on the coat at the time of washing — it isn't an ongoing preventative like a spot-on treatment or collar, so a cat that goes back outdoors can pick fleas up again straight away.
Who it's for: owners dealing with an active flea, tick or mite problem on a cat over 6 weeks old, wanting a proper wash rather than a leave-on treatment.

Why we chose it
Tea tree and neem oil is a genuine active combination rather than a vague 'natural' claim, and the 5-minute contact time is specific enough to actually work if you follow it. It's priced as an everyday shampoo, not a premium treatment.
