AniForte® Bio Barf Puree Carrot and Cranberry

A dog's plate needs adjusting as it moves from puppy to adult to senior, and a puree that gives a feeding split for all three — rather than one flat instruction — is doing more work than the name on the front suggests.

Despite the name, cranberry is a minor part of this recipe: it's 35% carrots and 35% zucchini — tied for the largest share — with parsnip at 19%, apple at 9%, and cranberries and carob bean gum at just 1% each. AniForte's feeding guide runs by life stage: roughly 80% meat to 20% puree for puppies and young dogs, 70-80% meat to 20-30% puree for adults, and 60-70% meat to 30-40% puree for seniors, or used as a topper at around 10% of the total feed.

On the name. "Carrot and Cranberry" puts cranberry on the front, but it makes up just 1% of the recipe — less than the carob bean gum used to bind it. Zucchini and parsnip, neither named on the pack, together outweigh the cranberry by a wide margin.
