Full description

A hide has to be the right size rather than the right idea. Too big and it stops feeling like cover, which is the entire point of it; too small and the animal cannot turn round inside without reversing out. Get that wrong and the thing is never used at all: it just sits there occupying the floor space it was meant to improve.

This one is built from wood Ancol describe as high quality and durable, chosen so that gnawing at it is part of the point rather than a problem. It measures 35 x 39 x 28cm, and the roof is deliberately flat, so another hide or a toy can sit on top and turn one object into levels and a climbing route, which is usually the space in a cage nobody is using. It arrives to be assembled rather than ready built.
