The best treats for a Pomeranian
A Pomeranian's treats need to be sized for a genuinely tiny mouth and portioned carefully for a dog that gains weight easily. Most adult Pomeranians weigh only 1.9 to 3.5kg, so a treat that is a rounding error for a Labrador is a real chunk of a Pomeranian's daily calories, and a treat sized for a medium dog is simply too big to eat comfortably or safely.
Why size matters more than flavour here
Pomeranians have small jaws and a mouth crowded with teeth relative to their size, which is part of why the breed is known for dental issues later in life. A treat that is genuinely bite-sized, rather than a large biscuit meant to be gnawed down, is both easier and safer for a Pomeranian to eat.
