Buying one tin before committing to a case is the only way to find out whether a fussy cat actually likes something, which is the case for trying Whiskas' Ocean Menu Salmon before ordering six at once.

This is a single 400G tin of Whiskas' complete and balanced wet cat food in jelly, with fish and fish derivatives including 4% salmon in the chunk — and Whiskas note the chunk itself is typically 40% of the tin, so salmon sits within a portion of the tin rather than being the bulk ingredient the name suggests.

• Single 400G tin, complete and balanced cat food in jelly
• Composition led by meat and animal derivatives and cereals
• Fish and fish derivatives include 4% salmon in the chunk (chunk typically 40% of the tin)
• Protein 6.7%, fat 3.2%, moisture 83.7%
• Added taurine, zinc, iron and vitamins per Whiskas' additive panel

On the name. As with any "With Salmon" variant on this range, the 4% figure describes only the chunk, which is itself around 40% of the tin — so read it as a flavour name rather than a claim that salmon dominates the ingredients list, because it does not.

Who it's for: owners wanting to try Whiskas' Ocean Menu Salmon in a single tin before buying a multipack, or simply topping up a mixed rotation of flavours.
