Egg is a genuine protein boost for a bird that's normally fed seed, which is a different reason to reach for a treat than flavour alone, and it's the detail that sets this one apart from the plain fruit and honey sticks in the same range.

This is a complementary treat, not a complete food. Vitakraft bake it three times onto a natural wooden stick, and the card notes it as specifically designed for parrots, despite carrying the Canary Stick name — worth knowing if you were shopping by the product name alone. It comes with a cage clip and egg among its named ingredients.

On the name. This is sold as a "Canary Stick", but the compatibility note on the card says it's specifically designed for parrots — a mismatch between the product name and what the manufacturer's own data says it's for. We'd check with the seller before assuming it's aimed at canaries specifically.

Who it's for: owners of parrots or other caged birds wanting an egg-based treat for enrichment, rather than a canary specifically, per the manufacturer's compatibility note.
