One thing worth knowing
This is a treat, not a staple diet — Tetra's own guidance is to feed it every few days in addition to a fish's regular food, not as a replacement for it, so it shouldn't be making up the bulk of what a fish eats.
Why we chose it
No thawing and no risk of introducing disease from frozen stock are two genuine practical advantages over the frozen bloodworm most of the trade still sells, and the individual sachets mean less waste than defrosting more than you need. It's a small convenience upgrade at a similar price.

Full description
Frozen bloodworm has to be thawed, handled and stored, which is exactly the faff a jelly-based sachet is built to remove — the whole selling point here is treating fish to bloodworm without touching it or keeping a freezer bag on hand.
Tetra's Delica Bloodworm comes in individual sachets, sixteen to a pack at 3g each. Tetra state there's no risk of introducing disease compared with frozen food, since the sachets never need thawing, and the nutrient-enriched jelly is designed not to cloud the water.
- 16 sachets, 3g each
- No thawing needed, unlike frozen bloodworm
- Tetra state no disease risk compared with frozen food
- Also suitable for marine fish and goldfish, not tropical fish alone
- Complementary treat, fed every few days alongside a staple food

Who it's for: keepers of tropical fish, marine fish or goldfish who want an easy, mess-free way to offer bloodworm occasionally without handling or thawing frozen food.
