Specifications

Brand: Supa
Food type: Complete

Full description

A pellet holds together in water far longer than a flake does, which matters in a pond where wind and surface movement scatter loose food before slower fish ever reach it.

These are complete pond pellets for all types of pond fish, made with added stabilised vitamin C on top of the general balance of nutrients, vitamins and trace elements Supa build into the range. They come in a resealable jar, which is there to keep the pellets from going soft or stale once opened.

Complete food for all types of pond fish
Added stabilised vitamin C
Pelletised format, more stable in water than flake
Resealable jar
200g or 425g pack

On what's not specified. No protein, fat or fibre percentage is published for this pack, and there's no guidance on pellet size relative to fish size or pond stocking level. Judge portion by what clears in a few minutes rather than a measured amount, since neither is given here.

Who it's for: pond keepers who want a pellet rather than a flake, either because their pond gets wind and surface disturbance or because their fish are used to feeding on sinking or slow-moving food.

Supa Pond Pellets

Why we chose it

Pellets hold their shape in water better than flake does, which is worth something the moment a pond isn't perfectly still. Added stabilised vitamin C is a genuine step up from a plain pellet, and it's stated plainly rather than folded into a vague 'vitamins and minerals' line.
