- These pellets are perfect for use with any pellet feeder and are an ideal complementary feed.
Full description
Wild birds burn energy fast in cold weather, and suet — rendered beef fat — is the calorie-dense answer most garden feeding is built around, with mealworm added here for the protein a plain fat pellet doesn't supply on its own.
These pellets are made from wheat flour, beef suet, glucose, ground peanuts and mealworms, with citric acid (E330) added at 1320mg/kg as a preservative. Suet To Go's own instruction is to feed them through a suitable suet pellet feeder, or scattered on a bird table at a safe height from ground predators.
- Wheat flour, beef suet, glucose, ground peanuts and mealworms
- Mealworm named as a protein source
- Citric acid (E330) added at 1320mg/kg
- For use in a suet pellet feeder, peanut feeder, or on a bird table
- 12.55KG pack
Worth flagging. These pellets contain ground peanuts, which is worth knowing if you have pets or family members with a nut allergy handling the feeder or bag — Suet To Go don't publish a full nutritional breakdown (protein, fat and fibre percentages) beyond the ingredient list and the preservative figure.
Who it's for: anyone feeding garden birds year-round who wants a high-energy pellet with mealworm included, fed through a dedicated feeder or scattered on a bird table.

Why we chose it
Mealworm in a suet pellet is the detail that separates it from a plain fat block, and at 12.55kg this is a size for someone feeding a garden regularly rather than topping up once a month. It's a straightforward staple for the wild bird section.
