- These pellets are perfect for use with any pellet feeder and are an ideal complementary feed.
Full description
Insect-based suet is aimed at the birds that naturally hunt insects over seed — robins and wrens among them — so offering an insect variety alongside a standard seed feed widens which garden visitors actually get fed rather than just the seed-eaters.
These are wheat flour, beef suet, glucose, ground peanuts and insects, pressed into pellets for a suet pellet feeder, peanut feeder, or scattered on a bird table. Suet To Go add citric acid (E330) as a preservative and a yellow colouring.
- 12.55kg bag
- Wheat flour, beef suet, glucose, ground peanuts, insects
- Contains peanuts and wheat flour
- Citric Acid (E330) as a preservative; yellow colouring
- For use in a suet pellet feeder, peanut feeder, or scattered on a bird table
What the label does not say. No calorie or fat percentage is supplied for this product, and unlike the Berry variety, no explicit allergen-warning text has been given here — but ground peanuts and wheat flour are both named ingredients, so the same caution around peanut allergies applies regardless.
Who it's for: anyone feeding wild birds who wants to attract insect-eating species like robins and wrens, alongside the seed-eaters a standard mix brings in.

Why we chose it
Insect suet is the variety that actually widens who turns up in the garden, since seed alone tends to favour the same handful of species. 12.55kg is the bulk size worth having once you're feeding regularly rather than restocking small bags all winter.
