Specifications

Brand: Suet To Go
Food type: These pellets are perfect for use with any pellet feeder and are an ideal complementary feed.

Full description

Mealworm is the ingredient most gardens specifically ask for, so a suet pellet built around it rather than having it as one ingredient among several is a reasonable thing to stock alongside the berry and insect versions.

Suet To Go's Mealworm Suet Pellets are made from wheat flour, beef suet, glucose, ground peanuts and mealworms, with citric acid (E330) at 1,320mg/kg added, sold in a 500G bag.

On the additives. This is the one flavour in the range with no colourant named alongside the citric acid, which suggests the yellow and red seen in the other two flavours are added rather than coming from the mealworm or berry content itself.

Who it's for: gardens where mealworm is specifically what's bringing birds in, rather than a mixed suet feed.

Why we chose it

Mealworm is the flavour customers ask for most specifically. Completing the range with berry, insect and mealworm side by side means we're not guessing which one a particular garden's birds prefer.
