Masking a urine smell only ever buys time, because the proteins that cause the smell are still in the carpet or fabric — the only way to actually finish the job is to break those proteins down rather than perfume over them.

Simple Solution's Urine Destroyer uses new spray technology with their Woolsafe Certified Stain & Odour formula, specially formulated to break down urine proteins hidden in carpet fibres. It's propellant-free with 0% gas, using an eco-friendly water-based formula, and sprays continuously and in any direction — including upside down — once primed upright. It's safe on carpets, upholstery, hard surfaces, cement and other water-safe surfaces, and the trigger is reusable with a refill option.

Worth knowing. Simple Solution's own description covers surfaces as varied as carpet, upholstery and cement, but doesn't specify contact or drying time on this listing, so how long to leave it working on a specific stain isn't something we can state here — the bottle's own directions are the ones to follow.

Who it's for: owners dealing with cat or dog urine accidents on carpet or upholstery who want a genuine stain-and-odour remover rather than a perfumed spray.
