A pouch named 'with Beef' or 'with Chicken' suggests that meat is most of what's inside, but a wet cat food built around chunks in sauce usually names the chunk's flavour rather than the whole pouch's makeup.

The chunk makes up 40% of the pouch, and within that chunk the named meat is 4%; the rest is sauce and the wider composition list — meat and animal derivatives, cereals, minerals, vegetable-derived proteins and sugars — running to around 94-95% natural depending on the flavour.

On what 'with Beef' means here. The named meat is 4% of the chunk, and the chunk itself is 40% of the pouch — so the headline flavour is a smaller part of the total than the name on the front suggests. It doesn't change the nutritional analysis, which is identical across all four flavours, but it's worth knowing before assuming 'with Beef' means a beef-heavy meal.

Who it's for: owners of an adult cat who wants a soft, sauce-based pouch as a complete meal, and doesn't mind that all four flavours share the same nutritional profile.
