A cat that turns its nose up at a bowl left down all afternoon is usually asking for gravy, not fish, which is why so many pouches lean on a name like "Tuna & Cod" while building the recipe around something else entirely.

That is exactly how this one is put together. Sheba's own composition leads with meat and animal derivatives at 95% (natural), with fish and fish derivatives — tuna in one variety, cod in the other — appearing at 4% "in the chunk." It is a complete food for cats over 12 months, fortified with a stated mineral and vitamin panel, and packed six pouches to a box.

• Complete food for cats over 12 months — adult and senior
• Meat and animal derivatives 95% (natural), with tuna or cod each at 4% in the chunk
• Protein 7.9%, fat content 4.4%, crude fibre 0.30%, moisture 84.0%
• Per kg: taurine 573mg, copper 1.3mg, iodine 0.34mg, iron 16.8mg, manganese 3.4mg, zinc 16.0mg
• Six 50G pouches per pack

On the name: "Tuna & Cod" describes the flavour, not the bulk of the recipe. Sheba's composition puts meat and animal derivatives first at 95%, with the named fish sitting at 4% in the chunk. Sheba also have not published a vitamin D3 figure for the tuna variety, where they have for others in the range.

Who it's for: owners feeding an adult or senior cat who want a fish-flavoured pouch as part of a rotation, on the understanding that the base is meat rather than a fish-first recipe.
