A cat food named after a city sells the theme, and the ingredient panel underneath is where the actual recipe is decided rather than the label.

Sheba's Taste of Tokyo carries two recipes, tuna and salmon, each with the named fish at 4% "in the chunk" and the chunk itself at 46% of the product — slightly more chunk than some of Sheba's other pouches. Unusually for this range it also contains cereals, including dried rice at 0.5% (equivalent to rice 2%). It gives a stated 43 kcal per 50G pouch and a feeding table by cat weight, running from 4-5 pouches a day for a 3kg cat up to 6-7 for a 5kg cat. Nutritionally it reads protein 9%, crude oils and fats 4.8%, crude fibres 0.2% and moisture 82% — Sheba do not state a crude ash figure for this one.

On the ingredients: this recipe includes rice, where several of Sheba's other pouches do not — worth knowing if you are avoiding cereal on principle rather than for a stated allergy, since Sheba do state it plainly here (dried rice 0.5%, equivalent to rice 2%).

Who it's for: owners portioning by calorie count for an adult cat, who don't mind a small amount of rice in the recipe.
