A cage bird's perch options are entirely down to what the owner puts in there, so adding variety at perch height is one of the simplest changes an owner can actually make.
This is the Inst 'A' Perch from Sharples Pet's Ruff 'N' Tumble range, sold as a pack of three. Each perch measures 24cm and is designed to be added to a bird's cage quickly, with no complicated fitting involved. Sharples Pet say it's suitable for small to medium sized birds.
- Pack of 3 perches
- Each perch measures 24cm
- Quick to add to a cage
- Suitable for small to medium sized birds
- Part of the Ruff 'N' Tumble range
What the label does not say. No material is specified for the perches beyond the Ruff 'N' Tumble branding, and no cage bar spacing or diameter is given, so fitting to a specific cage is something you'll need to check yourself.
Who it's for: owners of small to medium cage birds who want to add extra perching options quickly, without a complicated installation.

Why we chose it
Three perches in one pack means you can space them out through a cage rather than buying single perches one at a time, which works out more practical for anyone actually setting a cage up properly. Quick fitting is also genuinely useful when you're changing a cage layout regularly.
